Why BalcoDeck is different

Loads carried across the roof, not through it

Most roof terraces fix balustrade posts and deck supports straight into the slab. That means drilling through the waterproofing and relying on sealant to keep water out. BalcoDeck was developed so you do not have to choose between a safe balustrade and a watertight roof.

  • No holes in the membraneThe system sits on the roof. No fixings go through the waterproofing, so there are no new points for water to get in.
  • Your roof stays as it was builtNo cutting into the structure and no patching round posts. The existing waterproofing is left as installed.
